Shaping a visual identity for Kuwait’s creative community

Masaha 13 Space was created to unite a community of pioneering artists, entrepreneurs and thinkers, in Kuwait’s creative industry, as well as empowering women in the process. Located in an industrial area, this innovative space encompasses a cultural café, events, talks, exhibitions, and a store.

Our mission was to develop a simple, attractive and feminine visual identity that draws inspiration from Middle Eastern culture, while effectively translating across packaging, signage, merchandising, and digital communications within the space. Taking cues from traditional Kuwaiti mosaic imagery and employing a foundational grid, we designed a logo that pays homage to heritage while speaking in a contemporary language.

Collaborating closely with Shaha Almunaifi, we identified a unique creative opportunity and established a distinct brand world for Masaha 13, grounded in the exploration of the interplay between tradition and contemporary influences. Additionally, we assisted the team in designing all brand touch points and laying the groundwork for a successful social media strategy.
